Hello! My name is Muhammad Niyaz Bin Mohamed Radzi but you can call me Niyaz. I am 22 years old and my dream is to become a well-renowned interior designer and I believe that I have the passion, skills and determination to accomplish this dream. I have always loved the idea of integrating ideas into reality and as a result, I enrolled to Singapore Polytechnic to pursue my Diploma in Interior Design and in the three years I have learned different aspects of interior design and gained many skills to help me achieve my dream. More about me, my favourite pastimes include playing the guitar, collecting perfumes and driving to different parts of Singapore with my friends. The things I would say I value most in life would be my family, first and foremost, my longtime friends and my faith which I believe has helped me get through my darkest times and kept this dream of mine burning bright. My Design Philosophy
My design philosophy is that a great space does not constitute of the platform or the quality of a ingredients used. However more so the overall harmony of a space. Try imagining a newly constructed condominium complex. It has beautiful and unique wooden platforms that flow beautifully throughout the space and the designer integrates a lot of greenery to keep the space lush and breathable. However, you can help but realize the obnoxious chandelier in the main overhang. Then you start to notice the floor tiles do not go with the space at all. There is a disturbance in the harmony of a space. The chandelier costs hundreds of thousands of dollars and the tiles were worth a fortune and the space looked beautiful but it did not speak to the soul. To me, harmony is one of the most important aspects of a space because with harmony any space can be transformed into the space.
